Sounds like you found your future hubby a ring! My FI likes the titanium rings and he found a black one with 2 white gold lines through it he loves...$190. Me on the other hand...I would love to have my custom band made but I can't see spending $3000 right now so I'm going with a simple white gold band & will upgrade in a few years after our house remodel is finished : )

I paid around 2500 for my husbands ring and it sounds very similar to the one you've described. It was exactly what he wanted (and apparently he's picky), and he'll wear it for the rest of his life. So I was fine with the cost.

It sounds like you both love it. It will be something he wears forever so if you can afford it, go for it. We have not looked at wedding bands yet so I can't compare price but FI wants to get a platinum band to match my engagement ring so I imagine it will be expensive.

I am with most...if it is in your budeget than there is no price that is too much. My FI ring was $200 and we love it! It has 7 round diamonds. All to say that don't lose a kidney behind it but if you can do it than do it. Also, consider his profession. Don't get something really expensive and the ring gets all banged up.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
