LOL, that is funny Becks. That reminded me of something funny my FI did.

We were driving home from camping on Sunday and he kept on burping. We were like four hours in and he let out this loud ass burp, I started to laugh and say you know honey we are not camping anymore. He then said we are still camping until we get home. So when we are home, he burps again and then sweetly says, "excuse me". It was super funny. Perhaps you had to be there.

I love it when Mike dances. He is so BAD I can't even begin to describe it! My favorite is when a techno song comes on the radio or tv. He goes "look honey, it's my glowstick dance!" and he proceeds to fling his arms around and bounce, but he gets this goofy look on his face and sticks his tongue out. You have to realize though, the man is a 6'5" 370 pound offensive lineman.

Matt can make up a song about any thing in a seconds notice---really, anything. For a little extra flare he usually does some weird ass dance with it. I always roll my eyes at him....but have admitted that I would be 100% bored if he weren't around!

DH makes up songs all the time too.

When he feels like I'm not paying attention to him he says weird things to get me to tune in. Last week we had this conversation:

DH: Did you know grapefruits aren't really fruits?

me: Yes they are.

DH: No, they aren't.

me: What are they then?

DH: Nuts.

me: (realizing he's trying to get my attention) You are totally lying to me.

DH: And did you know that cantaloupe are really birds eggs? And that if you eat them you are automatically racist?

Not joking. He makes up the weirdest s&$t.

hahahah this reminds me of a story that dh told me...

apparently bil's old gf had never eaten sushi before. dh, bil, and the gf go to dinner at a sushi place, but dh and bil tell the gf that sushi screams before you eat it. anything she was about to order, they'd be like "salmon? oh that screams loud." "yellowtail? you really want to disrupt the restaurant for yellowtail?" "eel? OH no, that's the worst!"

she fell for it. they had to leave the restaurant...

See... when I think he isn't paying attention to me, I make stuff up...

Sam: So what are you going to do tonight?

AshleyRose: Oh you know, the usual... research some stuff, catch up on work I didn't finish, and then I was thinking about writing our vows.

Sam: What? Writing our vows?

AshleyRose: Yeah. Could be a fun project. Check that one off the list.

Sam: You going to write both our vows?

AshleyRose: Yeah. Works best that way.

Sam: We didn't talk about that!

AshleyRose: Sure we did. The conversation went like this, "Hey hunny, do you have any opinions about our wedding?" "uh... I want to marry you, i want people there, and i want there to be food..." "so everything else is fair game and you trust my judgement?" "yeah."

Sam: YOU TRICKED ME!

Sam: are you really going to write our vows?

AshleyRose: No, I think we should officially set the date first.

Sam: Oh. Most people do that first?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
