Beautiful. Not too hot. Not too cold. 75-85 during the day and 50-60 at night. I wore a light knit sweater and pants at night. Have fun on your visit!!!

Thanks girls for freaking out for me, cuz I'm really not freaking at all, believe it or not! I've got everything pretty well handled I think. I still don't know for sure how many people from my FI's family are coming...that's pissing me off! Ummm, but here's all I really have left:

-Next week call Pamela Floreria to order bunch flowers (we're doing our own arrangements & bouquets).
-Get a marriage license & do civil ceremony locally(secret!)
-Fiine tune ceremony & vows.
-Check in on FI's playlists for the dinner & dancing music.
-find some shoes (I know, late on this, just can't find what I like)
-See seamstress for final dress try on & pick up.
-Decide on OOT bag (it would help if I knew exactly how many people are coming!) I already have the contents of the oot bags
-PACK! Get mom & friends to tote oot bag contents in their extra baggage.

Oh, and Amber, yes we are doing our reception on the lawn instead of in the restaurant. We're going to do one big table and hang chinese lanterns. We are only having 20-25 people, so this will be cool I think - actually more of a private party than we would have in the restaurant.

I want time to hurry up because I am ready to hear about your wedding already, Christa! Don't worry because you do not need to be freaking...you have everything under control and anything that comes up I am sure one of the Cabo Surf's margaritas will cure. By the way ladies, did I mention the margaritas are lethally strong (and delicious)? Just FYI :)

Whoa there Janet...time is flying by fast enough for me right now! Yeah, I'm pretty much resolved to being ok with whatever happens once we get there...I've done enough planning and I know the site is beautiful, so everything will be great! I can't wait to have one of those margi's - yummmay!

Hi Girls,

I just got back from the Cabo and a week honeymoon in Nicaragua today. My wedding was at the Cabo Surf Hotel on Feb 16th and it was amazing. I need to get back to reality and then I will write my review of vendors etc. This forum was amazing and it really helped in the planning. Not sure what I would have done without it. Janet was especially helpfull! (thank you!)

Anyone getting married at the CSH will be very happy. Armando was great and everything was perfect!

Full review coming, I promise.

Lisa

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
