I'm so glad you liked Cabo Surf. Hopefully you can clear up all the confusion about site fees and other things that we all had about that venue.

Btw cabo surf was voted resort of the month on cabovillas.com! Just thought you would like to know.

Although I do have a precautionary tale. I don't mean to scare you I only tell you this b/c I would want someone to tell me. A couple who our friends of my FI and I booked a trip to cabo surf (not for a wedding just a vacation) through I believe expedia.com. and when they got there they told them that they were booked up and couldn't accomodate them!! It wasn't cabo surf's mistake it was expedias. So my friends called expedia and luckily my one friend speaks spanish so they upgraded her to the Melias. They ended up at a nicer resort for the same amount of money but I just wanted to warn people that sometimes booking through these discount travel companies can be risque.

Butting in here- it was a little chilly Sarah! And I definitely wasn't prepared for that, so make sure you have some pants and sweatshirts with you. It was 50's at night.

Yay! I am so glad...and I know just what you mean about it feeling like the perfect place. Armando is great and the hotel staff is wonderful - you won't regret it!

Once Tasha and Christa get married there next month you will have even more info about the place. I'm always happy to help too!

Yes...seriously! So close! Are you freaking out yet?

I do you have everything ready?

I saw your reception set up on you page. Are you using the garden area instead of the palapa for you reception?

Iâ€m freaking out for you!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
