KWIM? i have big social anxiety to begin with, so i think its catching up with me bigtime right now.

I know you know this but sometimes it helps to hear it...you do NOT have to please everyone - you are going to have an amazing wedding, 90% of it is already done and most people will not miss the little bullshit stuff that we spend hours thinking about and obsessing on - i know it is hard but please try to take care of yourself by letting some of it go.

Jose's parents sound very supportive - maybe you can offset some of this stuff onto her this weekend - she can have placecards and programs done in Mexico or maybe order through Anny - you are getting married to a man you love - it is time to start celebrating and stop stressing!

Yeah its amazing it will totally relax you - try reiki also that is fantastic for relaxing - your worries seem to melt aware I swear you walk out taller than when you went in

harty - actually my stepmom is a usui reiki master and is giving me a reiki treatment tonight, then im getting reflexology tomorrow, then a pedicure thursday. im hoping that doing one thing each day to relax me works.

if she's good the reiki will do it for sure - i used to go about 2 x a month and i was less agro than i've ever been lol i used to come out and not give a shit about anything lol it was fab

Aww Maura sorry you're stressed Between the reiki, relfexology, and pedicure you should be totally relaxed. I echo Alyssa's comments and we know you know, but sometimes you need to hear it - forget everyone else! When it's over you will be like "why did I care again?". Easier said than done, I know.

 

Call me if you want to blow off some steam or laugh about it, I work nights right now so I'm up all night & don't get to bed until at least 11am your time. Take care

Reflexology is tricky.. you need to have someone that really knows what theyre doing to feel the effects. We had to learn it in beauty school and I hated it..

well, the reflexology was great! i can say i am significantly less anxious because of it. during the treatment, my mind went totally blank, it was awesome. the reflexologist told me when the anxious thoughts start to creep up, to imagine myself in front of a soothing rolling river. every time the feelings come up, drop them in the river, over and over again. who knew something so simple and stupid would work?! she was so good, i felt waves of relief come over me during the spots where my mind was going blank. i would definitely recommend this to anybody else with anxiety issues!
