Do/did you have a reception dress?

Recommended Posts

So girls did you have or do you have a reception/dinner dress to change into? If you do where did you find ithuh.gif?

I am totally up in the air about this but I think it might be a good option to be thinking about since my WD is a fuller style and I don't want to be a wet rag baking in the sun totally uncomfortable. Past couple of weekends I have been strolling through the malls and online seeing what might be available but nothing has caught my eye. My intention is to have a simple chiffon knee length maybe with some straps or not... who knows.

Any help would be great... I'm at a smile116.gif on this one, and I know you girls always pull through!!

I always said I didn't want to change into another dress bc my wedding day is the only day I get to wear my beautiful dress but as of lately I keep wondering if I'll be able to dance comfortable in my dress or not. So I may buy a reception dress "just in case". My wedding dress is chiffon so its not very heavy but again I dont know how comfortable it will be to dance. hmmm, I'll have to think about this some more I guess.

My wedding dress is slim and not heavy/bulky. I have a feeling that I won't want to take it off, since I will never get to wear it again...so I will probably wear it for the reception. But it is fun having multiple dresses to wear :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
