How old were you when you got engaged?

I don't think time/age is what makes you learn about your likes and dislikes. My thoughts on marriage are simply that as we age, we will inevitably change as we grow and as we mesh. If both of us understand that and make the concious choice every day, then I believe... we will be ok.

That being said, I'll be 25 when I get married wink.gif.

I know! I had a high school BF that wanted to get married right after graduation at 18! Then the guy I dated before DH proposed when I was 19 or 20.

We used to joke that I could find everyone in the world to marry me, but no one to take me out to dinner & a movie.

We met when I was 19 and he was 20...we just got engaged and I'm now 25 and he's 26. We're really glad we waited as long as we did. We both wanted to make sure we had finished school and were financially set...so if they think they're ready then the best of luck to them both :)

The hubby and I dated through college. I am still learning about him more and more each day. I just found out that he does not like apples...LOL. I didn't even know that information. We are going on 7 years together in December. Our one-year wedding anniversary is on August 25th. I wouldn't have married the man that he was in beginning.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
