I agree. A TA would deffintly help you out. You may not think 35 people is alot now. But once you start booking and getting everything together it really starts adding up. And 35 phone calls you are going to receive about questions.

One guest from AZ.
Yes, please let me know what your TA says! Our situations are so similar - most of my guests will be coming from Michigan, that is where I am originally from.

Well my TA today was a total bust! I think I knew more about getting married in cancun then she did. I left there on pretty much exhausted and almost back to square one. She didn't want anything to do with the wedding other then booking the packages! Which for moon palace deluxe was a little over 2000 dollars per person for 7 nights and we priced some for 4 nights as well. I am kinda hoping I can find a better deal and a TA that would be a bit more involved!! So tonight I am on a search for local travel agents and crunching some numbers. Does anyone know if it is cheaper to block out some rooms with the resort and then book a charter with the TA? I got my FI and briadsmaids working on finding us a great deal!! lol any suggestions would be great!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
