Packing Wedding Supplies

Recommended Posts

I think some of the girls who had large weddings gave out their OOT bags prior to the trip. That helps a lot...

I think I may have to do this as well, and I've gone to a couple DWs where the other couples gave us our bag before the trip too. Great idea!

I will def be trying the ziplock. I still have no clue what I'm doing for oot bag contents though so I will keep the packing in mind when getting supplies. I was thinking instead of water bottles ordering custom beer koozies as we are staying in Mexico and assume most will not drink the tap water anyway

I'm thinking we would also have to pay the extra for luggage allowance. Will try and give my family some stuff to carry as well.

I need to figure out how much stuff I have first and then sort out how to pack it all! A second bag is only $20 so we will each probably bring one extra. And if we need more, I will get someone else on our flight to take one for us!

I would be willing to pay an extra bag, but with 2 kids we get 4 bags so should be enough (kids don't need a bag each) BUT.... we recently found out that Air Canada is upgrading us to first class and we will get 3 extra bags each, so we will be more than fine!   My friend is offering to sit with my kids back in regular class so I offered her more packing space in our bags too if she needs it.

But packing very carefully with fragile stuff.  I opted to buy nothing breakable but my maracas are fragile paint wise.

The entire Elite Plus section of the plane has been reserved by members of our wedding party on sunwing and this increases our baggage allowance permitted per guest. (It's their equivalent to first class) Between my kids and everyone else- we should more than cover the room needed to bring my decor!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
