Rosehall Resort and Country Club?'s

Recommended Posts

PMs coming to several of you!

I wasn't having too much success via e-mail and so started to contact them via phone. They rarely returned my calls and I had to keep after them! Unfortunately, I haven't had too much success. I was passed of from one WC to Conroy... and his communication is seriously lacking... =(

It's hopeful to hear that putting down the deposit helps (!) though at that stage of the game, it'll be too late.

I really want to have our wedding there, as it looks beautiful and I'm liking that it's a smaller resort.

If you don't mind my asking (those of you that married there) how many people attended your wedding?

Both the "packages" and "menu" information are freaking me out b/c they do not list prices on their menu options and certain wedding packages are only for 10 people or less!?!

I'm expecting more than 10 (not too many more) and they won't let us eat together on the All-inclusive if there are in excess of 10 people! If there's a fee involved, do you know what that might be?!

The questions WILL keep coming!

Thanks!

I am also looking into RHR for our wedding. I created a RFP with the things I wanted for my wedding and asked them to price it out and send it back to me. I have yet to receive it : ( I will attach the proposal and then you all can personalize it. I was not receiving any pricing information back so I created my own proposal so I could REALLY get an idea on prices for 50 - 100 guests. Any info from those of you who were married here would be very helpful. Thanks!

I have not been married there yet but I did go to see it and met with Natalie & Conroy (wedding consultants) they are SLOW there totally on island time and it is soooo frustrating. I thought after I left me deposit it would be different. I would suggest calling. They sent me an attachment with all food pricing and ceremony pricing it was on a weird program I had to have the guys at work print it for me I still have the email if you want me to email it you. The only thing is they were just bought by a Hilton i do not know if the pricing changed at all. PM me with your email if you want the menus with pricing

I got married there in april ... like everyone, communication is not their strong point ... but the wedding went pretty smoothly and the food, music (dj), service, etc were AMAZING!!! ... I put some of my pictures on my wedding website Our Wedding Website ... I also put a full/detailed review on this BDW site back in april as soon as I came back ... I will try to see if I can find the link and post it here for you.

I am planning on getting married at the Rose Hall Resort next May ... I had considered the Grand Palladium but haven't seen much reviews. Have you visited that resort and if so how was the experience?

Hey! I chose GP after visiting in September. There were a few kinks during my stay but I figured this was due to the timing of my visit- right after Hurricane Gustav- & the fact that the resort had just opened. Overall I had a great time, and thought it would work out well for my group- especially the price (currently about $100/pp/pn for all-inclusive!).

Here's where I posted my experience: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t28568

Also, visit palladiumaddict.net for lots of reviews!

I am booked at RoseHall for May 2009. I took a trip there last June and it was perfect for me...I was looking for a more intimate resort instead of the mega resports all over. I got a great price for my guest....I have had a few problems at the beginning of my planning but now everyhting is much better...I had to come to terms that they just communicate slower in then I am use to as the crazy New Yorker I am...Also by bgiggest advice is to understand the pricing system for all the food, drinks, band and decorations I didn't realize how expensive the actual wedding would be I was so concerned and consentrated on the rate for my guest.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
