LOL. I was in court the other day and they were doing the calendar call and they were like "Elektra v. Busta Rhymes" and everyone started laughing. I think it was some copyright case but it was funny to hear his name being called out in court.

Have fun Leia and Nikki!! I love NYC and am so jealous! And of course happy 30th birthday to John... your gift to him is AWESOME and I know you guys will have a great time. Have fun at serendipity! I ate so much there last time I had to undo my pants... and then we went to eat at Katz Deli... Enjoy!!

don't know if anyone will check this before going to dinner at any point this weekend, but we went to a restaurant called PUBLIC last night (downtown, elizabeth and prince, i'm pretty sure). it was SO good!!!! we had kangaroo and foie gras for appetizers (i don't like any foie gras, tho - it's a consistency thing), and for our entree, we split venison w/ some kind of green pea mousse that was delish! we also had sticky toffee pudding for dessert, and i've never had sticky toffee pudding like this! i was almost licking the plate clean!!

the atmosphere is fun too. there's a fun little lounge in the back by the bar. the music was just getting louder as we were leaving at 10:30ish. this was the runner up for dh's 30th bday, but i may change my mind and have it at here!

Have a great time ladies!

So many places to eat- so little time (and room in the belly) Sometimes when we have guests in town we Have drinks and apps at pne place and eat our way around the places that they want to check out. Do it. It's fun! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
