Happy Thanksgiving and Weddings to all!!! :)
Thanks Amy!! Good luck...and may the force be with youcheer2.gif

Are you happy with the way your dress fits you? I think they like to make them ultra snug. After wearing it for an hour you'll get used to it, I think.

I've started writing the planning thread in word. Otherwise it'll never get done.

I know it's SOOO soon! I was just thinking...this time next week will be the night before our wedding:-) GAWD, I hope we remember our dance moves, haha:-)

As for my dress...I'm happy with it...I just KIND of wish it was a TAD looser...but the seamstress was pretty adamant that a strapless dress should be very snug b/c it loosens over the course of the night and if it gets too loose, I'll keep tugging at it and pulling it up:-)

I just hope I can do our dance in itpunk.gif

BTW, Kevsgirl -- your hair flowers ROCK!!! VERY nice job!
WHo knows if I'll EVER have time to do my planning thread...I'm so impressed you've started yours... even more impressed Amy already put hers up!! :-)

I had my hair highlighted today...waxing Monday, nails Tuesday...Whew.

WOW -- now I feel like a TOTAL wimp/loser complaining about being short on time! Congrats lady...and good luck!!

Hey Ladies!

This is likely one of my last posts before leaving!

I'm a bad BDW member though b/c I had to drop off some things at my friends' places to pack for me b/c I have NO ROOM LEFT! oops.gif

Sooooo, I didn't have EVERYTHING to take pics of for my planning thread, but I took pics of what I do have here :-)

Here's the planning thread I just posted:

I'll probably check in here tomorrow, but then I'm off!

And, of course, I'll check back in when I'm back...

Have a great couple weeks!elefant.gif

Okay ladies, I'm heading out bright and early tomorrow. I posted my planning thread, but thinking back on it I did not include a lot of stuff such as hair and cake inspiration. I will make sure to take pictures of everything so you all can see how everything turned out. Thanks for listening to my vents and offering advice. You all made this process so much easier and manageable for me.

Talk to everyone in a couple of weeks!! Toodles!!

And I'm SO impressed some of you have already changed your siggy pics to a wedding pic!

Just got back yesterday...so once I've unpacked and dealt with work, thank you cards etc, I'll post my review! (hopefully this weekend?)

We had a few glitches but overall, the big picture was great:-)

I'm a bad BDW-er!

I STARTED my review on Saturday...but then got bogged down with people stopping by for some Christmas cheer as well as an unprecedented snowfall in my area:-)

How's everyone else doing post-weddinghuh.gif :-)

And here I thought I'd have all this spare time...ch'ya right:-)

Ha ha! I started my review, but it's nowhere near done.
I thought I'd have tons of time too. Guess that's what we get for getting married so close to the holidays!

I'm doing well. Busy and haven't had enoguh time alone with DH. That's my only beef.
He was so cute the other night - he organized a post-wedding stagette for me with the girls. I'll post some pics soon. He felt bad that I hadn't had one.
Other than that, we're on the baby making train and having a great time practicing :)cheer2.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
