Here is a great picture of the Chichen Gazebo that we will have for the wedding (that I found in Rachaels Shutterfly photo) and to the far right in the picture you will see a gazebo with no roof, this is the Pandero Terrace where we will have the 1 hour cocktail/hors d'ourevers (the post under the photo is mine). I am not sure if I have a picture of the ElGreco, where we will have the wedding dinner, I will check.

I will try to dig up photos of ours of the other gazebos and restaurants. Give me a little time and I will post them for you.

We also choose the Chichen Gazebo and the ElGreco because we did not want any kids around.

One of my girlfriends schmoozed the manager and talked him into giving us half the terrace (I posted pics earlier in this thread).

I don't remember hearing music, but maybe it was just because we were outside. We used the BOSE ipod dock and played our own songs throughout dinner (I made a playlist just in case and I'm so glad I did). Hope this helps!
Hi Rachel...i just looked through all of your pictures, you looked beautiful...What gazebo was your ceremony in and where was your cocktail hour held? also I love the maraccas! thanks...Nicole

I booked Del Sol for my photographer. They are rather expensize. $2800 for 4 hours, But all the photos are editted and you get the files. As a designer, thats a big deal to me. Plus they do AMAZING work!

My Wedding is in Feb. I am not sure when I am going to send out the invites. I wanted to do it 2 months ahead, but that puts it in the Christmas Card Rush. Maybe I'll Do it First thing in Decemeber.

Hmm you could try to do a search on her. There should be a post of the forums. The name sounds very fimilar..which is probably a good thing. I swear I read good reviews, however Del Sol was the first photographer I looked at, and I booked them right away so I really didn't look into or evaluate other photogapher. Looking back I think I made the right choice, but I wish I would have researched it a bit more.

I'm using Del Sol, (Matt) for my photographer, very excited about this their work looks amazing. I booked them back in December.

As for my invitations, I'm having a small group, 15 people I sent my invitations back in October.

I have done all my planning with Dulce via email. So hopefully everything will be as wonderful as I imagined when I arrive.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
