Hi Everyone,

I will be getting married at Aventura on June 27, 2009, eight months away! Though the website and tripadvisor.com describe the resort as amazing, we had to see for ourselves. We went just this past June and were truly impressed by the impeccable service, amenities, maintenance of the resort, etc. The website is nice, but really doesn't capture how beautiful the place is. We had a site tour with Dulce, chose the North Gazebo to wed in, reviewed the photographers work, etc.

You've made the right choice and your wedding will be amazing!!!

I'm not sure if you're aware, but I believe ASP is going to begin allowing kids in April 2009. 1/2 of the resort will be adults-only still, but the other 1/2 will be more family friendly.

It sucks for my FI and I because we wanted to have our honeymoon there - but we'll see how it goes!

Hi everyone! I haven't been on here for the last month or so because of the wedding, but we got married at ASP on October 9 and it was INCREDIBLE! We've only been back a week, and i haven't had a chance to write my review yet, but i promise to soon. :) One word of advice - GET THE DVD! You definitely won't regret it!!!!!

Do you know where this info came from? I've checked out the Palace Website but can't find anything!

I'll be VERY disappointed as we love this resort partly because it is adult only. sad.gif

I am planning to now marry at Adventura but was wondering about the photographer. Did you like the quality and service? Do you know if they allow out side photographers in to photograph the wedding?

I actually asked my wedding coordinator about the children policy and she confirmed that yes, they will be allowing children on HALF of the resort. The spa side will still be adults only and children will not be allowed, but adults have access to the entire resort. I was really bummed too, the adults only is one of the main reasons we chose this resort...but I just don't feel like changing everything at this point. It's all booked and payed off...just too much stress to do it all over again. It doesn't seem to be advertised so I'm hoping it will still be fairly quiet kid-wise in July...

My WC sent me a letter about it...if you want it PM me and I'll send it to you...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
