I'm bringing my portable steamer with me!  Just in case it needs a little something!  With my luck lately it would be traveling around Mexico and wouldn't make the wedding! LOL

Here's the link to purchase my steamer!  It's the best thing since sliced cheese.  I don't travel without it ever!

My gown shop pressed my dress before we left and I didn't need to do anything to it on my wedding day.  It was still as perfect as day 1.  If they press it nicely, it should stay.  At least know this...unless something has changed...they send your items OFF SITE to have them steamed/pressed, and it will take a few days.  If it were me, I wouldn't send me dress away!

Hope this helps!

I am not sure, I have a feeling someone reached out to me, because I was expressing my concern about the negative reviews to Yesenia, then magically the wedding coordinator reached out, so I wasnt sure if Yesenia told her to reach out to me earlier than normal. Because usually its around that 30 days or less mark....

I mean if you have an idea of everything you want, then it wont be hard, you just have to tell them basically! I just basically have told her general things I want so far, because I took a back seat to planning for a while, now I feel like I am doing all of this stuff and dont know where to find the time to look at stuff!

I am not bringing any decorations really, unlike I know most people on this have gotten their own centerpieces and table decorations, I just dont want to carry it all, the welcome bags are enough to worry about!!

Everythign will work out for us, I am putting my faith into it and hoping everything pans out!!

If its making you nervous reach out to Yesenia or your miami office contact, and tell them you would like to start the planning with the onsite coordinator.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
