Hi Taryn,

How have you been? I still have to finish up my welcome letters, pack evrything into my throw- away suitcase ( wedding favors etc), get my jewelry, transer songs to my ipod and practice, practice, practice our salsa first song! And I think that's it...

How about you?

Awsome!!  Seems like you are just about ready to go.  Salsa for the first song....how fun!!!

I have a few major things coming up that are taking up my mind/energy....paper signing tmrw, BD shoot Sat and bridal shower Sun.  Once that is all done I will feel a bit of relief because nothing else until the wedding.  That will give me time to focus and get everything together.

I believe my OOT bags are done but I need to lay them out and see what I have.

Finish making all our playlists, CD for ceremony and CD for DVD.

Figure out how I want to change the minister's ceremony reading to my liking and submit it to my WC for approval.

Parents gifts!!  Ugh what a headache.

Finish up some DIY things

And PACK!!!  :P

Severe thunderstorms and rain everyday...It's not looking promising.. And check this out I just got a text from my FI who is telling me that they are being hit by a hurricane right now... OMG! Hopefully it's going to be ok for the brides already there... This is just aweful...

Jessica -

I can't remember - did you have sashes, table runners or napkins that you brought? If so, did you have to iron them yourself or did you give them to your WC and she took care of that?  Mine are still folded up int he bags and I took one out last night to test out my centerpieces and boy are they creased.

Yes I did have sashes.  Mine were still folded in the bags too and I just gave them to my WC and she took care of it.  She tied them on the end chairs and used the leftovers as a runner for my reception table.

Hi ladies,

Has anyone here had a site visit to Aventura Cove Palace before?   I'm actually going to be having my site visit there next week on Thursday (the week of November 1).

I'm very excited for the trip, but I'm so nervous that I will forgot to ask important questions while I'm there.  Does anyone have any suggestions or questions of things that I should definitely ask during the site visit?  I greatly appreciate any input from former or 'soon to be' brides! Thanks so much, ladies!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
