I was wondering if anybody could answer these questions for  us... I have a few venue shots for Aventura Spa, I'm just trying to connect dots with the actual names of these locations.  Any help?

What is this spot?

Its a terrace connected to the lobby of the Spa side I think...

Seems like a awesome spot for a reception of 25 or less, being all elevated and open...wow.  Wind may be a challenge here on some nights..

this photo above was taken from the edge of the wall where the people below are standing.

What is the name of this terrace?   The views are SICK, especially if you are lucky enough to plan during a full moon...wow!

More from this wedding here if you need more to help me identify this space: http://delsolphotography.com/blog/content/galleries/?gal=296

thanks yall :)

OMG!!! I feel so bad for you, you must be stressing.  I hope you are feeling better now.  In the end it all works out. I would get some of your bridal party to help if you need anything.  I can only imagine how you are feeling.  Keep us girls posted on your progress and health.

Just when I thought life couldn't get any more hectic, it did!  Guess who had to go into emergency appendectomy surgery Tues am?  Yep, this girl!  Just what I need a week and a half before I leave for my wedding.  I got released from the hospital last night.  The doctor seems to think I will be fine by the time we leave but I am seriously stressing.  Oh and to top it off we are moving out of our house this Saturday into a new place that we just bought.  Shoot me now!!!

Hi Ladies,

I just had a random thought the other day, I was wondering how some you have or will transport your wedding dress. What are you guys packing it in? Is it or was it your carry on?  I was just wondering I'm trying to jot these things down so as I get close to October so I don't forget these details.

Thanks.

I am flying USAir and I am just taking it in a garmet bag as my carry on with hopes that they will hang it for me.  Worse comes to worst I will either lay it on top of the carryon bags or fold it to fit it in overhead.

Mia (one of the brides that just got married here) flew USAir and she said that it worked out fine and they took and hung her gown as soon as she got on the plane...so that makes me very hopeful.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
