My colors will be burnt orange with brown ( fall theme), so far 18 ppl booked but i'm expecting 20-24.  I'll be staying there for 2 weeks until the 14th.

 

 

how many guests are you expecting?

Hey girls -- this is to past brides...

 

Have any of you went on the vacation dollars tours?  I know we've talking about ziplining (won't be doing that) and the dolphin swim (definitely doing this!), but did anyone go to any of the ruins, water park or Isla Mujeres?  I am curious about how long these tours are and what they are like.  Thanks!!

We went to Chichen Itza. It was literally an ALL day trip. Its really far from the resort. With that said, we had all of fun. If youre into history, this is a perfect trip. If you go, try to plan it on a cloudy day because there is little shade and you will be walking around quite a bit.

Was this something you noticed every night while you were there or did it just happen to be your wedding day?  I was debating between Cove Terrace and the Solarium Mundaca.  Wondering if the bugs will be an issue anywhere outside.

 

We had our reception at the Solarium and we had no issues with bugs. It got a bit windy at one point, but the night was absolutely perfect. I didnt notice any bugs throughout our whole vacation.

sxcT - You inspired me to make my decision. I was pretty sure that I was going to go with La Luna, but was undecided on which photographer. I e-mailed them last night requesting information and to see if Rachel is available on my wedding day.  Having taken a second look at Rachel's portfolio online was all I needed to make my decision.

You made the right choice! I also booked with Laluna, not with Rachel though, she was not available.

 

My photographer is Melissa, I don't know to much about her work. but i know i made the right choice!

Hey! Unfortunately it just happened to be on my wedding day...we didnt have a problem with bugs at any other time during our vacation...the Welcome party was held at night on the Mundaca rooftop and that was fine...and even the outside reception on Marracas terrace was fine the night of our wedding...the only problem was around 5pm, the wind changed and my guests who were enjoying the cocktail reception up on the Cove Terrace said all off a sudden there were bugs everywhere, in the food, in their drinks...I was on the beach working with my photographer so I didnt know anything...but they said the resort handled it instantly and moved everyone inside quickly along with the food, and the party continued :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
