WOOHOO!!! We leave for Mexico in 13 days! and are married in 16! I can't believe it's here already!

 

Does anyone happen to have a design template for the welcome bags. My MOH was supposed to create it but her grandpa is in the hospital :(

Hello Ladies!

 

Is anyone using Del Sol Photography or have they heard of anyone else using them.  I'm a little torn right now on who to pick.  I know La Luna worked out well for another bride on this thread, but I think they are a little pricy.  Any advice?

Hey Liza!  Del Sol does amazing work...but I'm almost positive they cost more than La Luna.  I believe La Luna is a less expensive branch of Del Sol.  Have you checked out Juan Navarro, Gonzalo Nunez or Elizabeth Medina?  They might be a little less expensive and I believe their work to be comparable? 

 

I am using Octavio Montes...he is the most affordable photog that I have come across (I'm paying $1050 for 4 hrs of wedding day coverage and 2 hrs of TTD -- which includes 145 prints and a CD of all photos taken).  I honestly couldnt afford any of the above photogs or I might have gone with them instead.  I have heard nothing but amazing things about working with Octavio, so I am sure I will be more than happy with him!

Awww congrats - so exciting!!! By the time mine rolls around it'll be 15 months too, so it's nice to know it actually WILL come eventually :) I hope the time flies by for you!

We are using Juan Jose from Del Sol! I will say they are pricier than we initially expected to budget, but we decided to splurge and cut back in other areas. For us, pics are one of the most important things that will last well beyond the dress, the cake, decorations, etc...so after MUCH research (picking the photographer was one of the most difficult decisions!), we booked them. Juan Jose is VERY talented, but he's the least expensive of the Del Sol pros because I believe he's the newest to their team....others I looked at & loved: Elizabeth Medina (comparable price to Del Sol), La Luna (any of them are great, but I esp. like Rachel's work and it's less pricey than Del Sol), Juan Navarro (very reasonably priced), Ivan Luckie (LOVE him and also reasonably priced), and Sascha Gluck (again, with the good price). I was torn too, esp. when factoring in cost, but just take your time and look through the galleries of your top picks until you feel confident in a decision. I'm sure you'll love whoever you pick - best of luck!!

I'm also just about finished with our ASP welcome booklets, which might be helpful to future brides!?  It will have all sorts of information about the restaurants, what is included at the resort, other surrounding resorts, and information on resort dollars.  I'll post the document when I'm all done!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
