We did the caribbean buffet for the reception and the italian for the welcome dinner. Both were really good. I had no complaints whatsoever.

Ok so I am a couple days out from leaving.  I was wondering if any past brides had any opinions on the buffets that they offered.  There are so many and I know the food was amazing during our site visit but there are too many options!!  Any guidance would be appreciated.

Also, does anyone still have the 2010 price list they could email me?  Mia.Roberts.Esq@gmail.com

Wanted to also give you guys a heads up that I received a power point presentation from Wilma that had each event and the little details associated with it.  she even included a picture of each venue.  I would be more then happy to share it with you just shoot me a pm with your email.

I found it super comforting to see a recap and it gave me time to ask questions and tweak things a little.

Hope you ladies are doing well!

Hi Ladies,

I'm totally new to this blog, I love all the comments and questions...since its my first time here I'll begin with a question.  How did you all book your trave arrangements.  Travel Agent or you did your own booking.  I know Yesenia mentioned a contract to hold rooms.  I wanted to get all your input, because I want to coordinate my travel with my mom and sister&husband along with my future hubby.

Any suggestions?

Amanda,

I'm totally new to this blog, but as I keep reading I keep learing so much. I totally LOVE your pictures.  I've bee to the resort twice so I know what I'm getting myself into, but my questions are mainly the planning and coordinating the wedding itself. By looking at your pictures its exactly what I want...on the terrace and totally intimate. Is there any way I can get your e-mail so I can pick your brain and ask some questions. I shared your pictures with my future hubby and we totally fell in love with your wedding.  You can e-mail me as well: MarTeeNi007@aol.com. I just started my planning and I'm torn about either using the resort or doing my own arrangements for travel.

You help and knowledge is greatly appreciated... 1-pray.gif

Thanks

Liza

I love your pictures!!!!  I'm new here and I just started making my way through all these pages of blogs.  I had a question...is you package the amethyst rose package?  I just want to get an idea for the colors, since I saw someone else here in the blog have their bouquet custom made with fake flowers, which in actually look totally real.  I wanted to have an idea of the color scheme.

Thanks.

Liza

OMG I love your pictures!!! I inserted a thread before but I'm not sure I did it correctly.  I'm totally new here.  I signed my contract last week...can't wait till October 27, 2011.  My name is Liza and I couldn't help looking at you pictures and say that its exactly what I want for my wedding.  I've been to the resort twice before but I'm very shaky on the planning and preparations for a wedding.  Could I e-mail you to ask questions or you can e-mail me if you like MarTeeNi007@aol.com.  I just started my planning and I'm at the point where i'm trying to decide if I want to book with the resort or go on my own and make those arrangements.  Its basically these little nuances that i have and would to ask for more clarification.  I hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks

Liza

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
