I traveled with my own cake topper, toasting flutes, cake serving utensils and the 2 candle holders. My cake utensils never got returned to me...so, they're probably there to use! lol

Aww thats unfortunate...unless I get to use them LOL!!

That is one thing I am worried about.  I'll have to designate someone to pickup all the stuff that is mine before the end of the night.  I don't want to worry about things and have to chase them down myself.

haha Well I hope you do get to use them. Oh wait...they were engraved! haha No one would notice! LOL

I'm sure I would've got them back if it didn't start pouring right at 10:30pm! We were playing our last song and the rain came so my MOH grabbed what she could and we ran to my room dropped them off and went to the club. The next morning, Dulce had someone deliver the rest of my items to me. When I called her about the serving utensils she was ZERO help and just said everything was in the bag. I didn't feel like arguing or wasting anymore of my time w/them so just said forget about it!

They pack your items up for you is what I'm getting at but I would designate your MOH to just make sure that everything is there.

That is awesome.  As of right now we plan on going to Sun Palace for a couple days for our honeymoon so we get the vacation dollars there too.

...well that is if the vaction dollars are still around by the time we book.  Right now I was told the deadline is Nov 1, 2010 but I asked Yesenia and she said they have talked about extending the deadline but nothing has been decided yet.  Anyone heard anything on that??

You will get 1500 If you are staying monday night - saturday night (750 if you leave Friday Morning because it isnt 5 nights) You will then get an additional 1,500 for Friday/SaturdayNight - the following Sunday.

So 3,000 Total. that will be split between the room. If you stayed 4 nights on both side, you would get 750 on both sides, 1,500 total.

1,500 = For 5-7 Nights on the CoveSide

1,500 = For 5-7 Nights on the SpaSide

=3,000 total =)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
