That is so so so awesome! I can't wait to see pictures from your wedding. I believe your the next one on here (ASP) to get married? Its late, so I might be off. Anyways...with 75 nights you also get 7 nights free. How great is that. Thats probably my biggest drive to get 75nights.

Hey ladies!! Ive been MIA for a little while.

Im getting married on 11/12. Im so excited!!! I cant believe how fast time is moving. This Saturday is my bridal shower, cant wait! The week after that, is my Houston bachelorette party then the weekend of Oct. 1st is my Jersey bachelorette party...then the wedding! Yikes!

I hired Adrian Herrera for photography, his work is amazing! I hired Fernando for hair and make-up. Im just buying day passes for everyone.

I purchased the Diamond package and will probably just pick out all of the decor down there. I dont want to travel with a bunch of things to Mexico so Ill probably hit up the local Walmart or Playa for hurricane vases for centerpieces and what not.

I was gonna hire the DJ, but he was way too pricey so I just went with the docking station. Im only expecting about 45ppl so Im sure the music will be loud enough for everyone to hear. I plan on going to the disco after the reception to continue the party :)

I already made an appt for the salon for mani, pedi and massages for the bm's. Im so excited to spend the morning of my wedding at the spa with my besties!

I too recently reached my 75 room nights!! I actually have about 3 or 4 more people booking on top of that. Its so exciting!! Now I can email Dulce to reserve my welcome dinner and brunch (day after wedding) locations.

I think thats it so far regarding the resort planning. Still have lots of little things to do still. huh.gif

Nicole:  How do you find out how many weddings are booked on your date through the website???

Ladies...thank you SO much for your comments about the photographer...I'm going to just wait it out for a little.

Shalanda (sgray), I am hoping I get to see your resort photographer photos and choose then!?!?!  By the time your wedding is over I will still have over 6 months to choose!  Where in PA are you from!?! I am outside of the philly area - near the airport

Erika, have SO much fun this weekend and next!!!!!!!!

Nicole, the best way to verify how many weddings are actually taking place is through your wedding coordinator. This resort is huge! You have the Spa Palace side to choose from also, as long as no children are present.

I'm going to go through some of my photographers pictures and see if I can find any of your locations. I'll email them to you.

Congrats on reaching the 75 nights. Throw as many parties as you can!! We added the welcome dinner at the last minute and it was a great start to our wedding weekend!

Choose a photographer that you LOVE! You will regret not having great photos of your wedding day. I had the resort photographer and my own photographer (friend of my husbands) and I wasn't happy with either. Don't get me wrong, I had some beautiful photos but I was expecting more. I added my outside photographer to the guest list and paid the $80 (whatever it is) for him to come onto the property. I wish I would have went with the photographer I actually really wanted.

Congrats! That is wonderful. I was initially happy about just having 60 rooms booked to have one private event. Unfortunately, my list is beginning to dwindle a bit. But, as nicdeb928 said, "stress free" smile72.gif

We're getting married and we're going to have a FABULOUS time!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
