AHHHHHHH! 10 days left and I'm going crazy!

im stuck at work for today and tomorrow, then off for 18 days! woohoo!

i REALLY want to go home, but i dont think its in the cards, too many people travelling and not letting me go home, hahaha. jerks wink.gif

 

i have SO SO SO much more to do, every time i cross something off my wedding to-do list, i think of 3 more things that need to be done! ACCCKKKKK!

 

and this weekend we ran into 3 mini-fiasco's, the grown up best man called us and said he doesnt think he will fit into the XL shirt we bought him 4 months ago. he says he will probably fit into a XXXL! OMG are you kidding me? how do you not notice putting on that much weight in the last month or so and let a person know so they have time to fix the problem? we raced all over town last night trying to find a replacement, and the only thing i could find in online at kohls. too bad it's an extra $15 for express shipping. grrrrrrrrrrr.

 

and also one of dougs brothers told us his son (a GM) wears a mens size 5 shoe--which we needed to know in order to buy his pair of the 14 pairs of matching converse-- we ordered it and had him try them on, 2 freakin sizes too big! OMG how do you not know your kids shoe size?? we had to go in to nordstrom and re-order the right size last night, but it wont come in until the day before the freaking wedding! again, OMG!!!! WTF is wrong with people?!?!

 

and finally, doug's other bro (who happens to be his BFF and our offciant) called to chat and when doug asked him when they are coming in (he, wife and baby--flowergirl, BTW--live in chicago) he said not until thur or fri the 10th or 11th! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!

YOU DONT FLY INTO TOWN THE DAY OF THE WEDDING WHEN YOU ARE IN IT!

i am having a minor panic attack about that one. he works for american airlines, so they are flying standby, so im freaking out with all these "what-ifs". good god, what next?

 

i guess in the grand scheme of things, these are all minor things that can be taken care of, ok unless bro doesnt get here in time for some god awful reason.

10 days, omg! that is great!! calmly inhale and exhale girl! everything will work out. seems like you have taken action on all the last minute fiasco's so i do think it will all be ok. i notice most of your dilema's have to do with the "men" hahahahah ahh gotta love them. i will keep fingers crossed! is there anyway the bro can change his flighthuh.gifhuh.gifhuh.gif wtf!

but how freakin annoying about the shirt & shoes - it is not nice to tell the bride that stuff at the last minute!!!!

This is it though, the final stretch... you only have to frantically worry for 10 more days! And 18 days off work, how great is that?!

JUST TRY TO take it easy and breathe, you know? :) It'll all work itself out.

 

I hadn't started to really freak out til this morning. ... four more days. I cannot beleive it! AHH

the actual ceremony doesnt start until 7pm, but pics start at like 4pm.

yup, men! well he flies standby so really all he has to do is get on another flight. but i think the issue is with they might not be off work or something that thursday. sorry, not my problem sad.gif

wow i can tell you it has taken a LOT of patience!

poor doug. he is just DONE with the whole thing. i just have to laugh. he constantly walks around with a deer-in-the-headlights look, ever since he saw my planning pictures, and realized how much work i've actually done :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
