You will need to check the Carnival website to see what the schedule is for the ship you want to sail on. Then it would depend on what port the ship will be in on those days. If it's at sea Carnival can't perform a wedding. I believe Princess is the only line that does at sea weddings? You should find a knowledgeable TA that can help you through the cruise process. You will also need to decide if you want to plan your wedding through the cruiseline or a private planner in port (usually saves you a lot of money and gives you more control over planning).

Not to scare ya bc theres alot of brides that pulled off a Cayman wedding.
We wanted to do a port wedding in Grand Cayman but changed our minds. We cruised there in June of last year and there was a delay bc the waters were too rough and they wouldnt let us tender, they almost skipped it but didnt. We just decided to do it a day before on a Florida beach and enjoy Grand Cayman while honeymooning on the cruise lol. We'll have our kids with us so we wanna do the stingrays with them.

I was on a cruise (Carnival) in May 2005 that went to Grand Cayman, Jamaica (Ocho Rios), and Mexico. The weather was ab solutely fabulous!

I chose disney since they have there own island and I know the cruise will be family oriented and no I don't have kids and I'm not previously married.  I just thought it would be nice to not have it be drink and gambling cruise

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
