HELP!! Any tips from people who've worked with these guys?
I like to save money as much as the next girl... especially when the whole thing is coming out of my pocketbook, but the photogs have a point! Other than your memories this is what you will take away from your wedding!!! Nobody will notice if you chose a small rose bouqet over orchids, or chicken over the filet- the pictures are your present to yourself!
I spent ALOT (IMO) on photography, and it is the thing that I am looking forward to most other than marrying my best friend. I know that she will capture all of the little details that I dreamed up but probably won't have time to appriciate:-)
That said, if you are stressed about money overall, and saving money here would lower your stress level... well, that is a valid point too! I didn't help much, did I?!. Sorry!

I signed a contract with Dino Gomez.....A piece of advice girls, I was about to sign a contract with another guy, when I sent him an email asking to be sure to include certain details in the contract...one of those being that he personally was going to potograph my wedding as we had discussed...Thank goodness I did that because he then called me and said he didn't realize it before but he actually had another wedding that day but that he would send me his assistant!! Well she may have been good but i did my research on her as I did with every other vendor and could not find ONE THING to her credit. When I asked him why he said it was because all her work was under his name....sounded fishy so I went with Dino Gomez who's pics are really nice as well....

I think I am going to go with the resort photographer as our resort charges $300 vendors fee for outside vendors .. boooo, !!! But  I have already convinced my fiance that I want Cinematic Touch ( Angel Zapien) to do our videography  , so we have to pay the fee for him to come to the resort. I may be pushing my luck to get a photographer too.   I am happy with the pics of the resort photographer though. Good luck to you all, post pics if anyone has any of the CAbo photographers!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
