Wasn't it Boulder that Oprah visited on her cross country road trip? I remember her being in CO and in a town where everyone was active and fit because she stopped someone on the street and remarked how nobody there was overweight LOL Pretty sure that was Boulder.

Hmm... what I know about Boulder is that they are big pot heads! The students at the unversity have a big thing every April 20th. Open pot smoking is pretty common. :)

But seriously, it's a beautiful town. I think the scenery is amazing.

Um the Oprah thing I think was Durango (where I live) b/c I just went and got our photos done old west like and in the window is her and Gayle dressed Old west style. And Durango is VERY fit. Everyone walks or rides bikes. But it could of been boulder. But just me thinking it was Durango!

Um Boulder folk are a bit different..."HIPPIE" :) Honestly there are other CO towns that I prefer...I never quite understood the draw of Boulder...it is very outdoor-sy, lots of stuff to do...nice...BUT there are other towns in CO that have the same or more to offer...IMO!

If you're lookin to come to CO. for a weekend, I would recommend going to a mountain town. (Breck, Vail, Glenwood Springs) My FAVORITE PLACE in the mountains is definetely Glenwood Springs! They have a huge outdoor hot springs pool that is open year round, It's the cutest town full of restaurants, all sorts of shops, and you are in the heart of the mountains so you can walk on a hundred different trails. Also, white water rafting is right there too, and I can tell you if you have never been, it's one of the funest things you'll ever do!!!! Glenwood is incredibly romantic, and is PERFECT for a weekend in Colorado. I could go on and on....lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
