Under table lighting?

Hey Everyone,

 

I love love love the look of under the table lighting. Most of the tables I have seen with the under table lighting have white linens...

 

Do you think this would work with colored linens (like pink or coral) or will it not have the same effect?

I think it would still look good.

They will work, but your linens will need to be a lighter shade, i.e. pastel pink not hot pink.

 

Depending on the fabric, you probably won't get as much of a glow.

 

If you like the look, you can always go with white under linens and colored toppers with an accent colored placemat, runner,etc.

okay, I don't get it. Is it like Christmas tree lights wrapped around the edge of the table only on the underside

It's more like a battery powered lantern. This is what it looks like:

 

 

This is a bad picture of it... I need to find the picture I found of it on the beach... it just sort of glows. Very pretty.

I absolutely love this idea. I just looked into it a little bit and the lamps are expensive. Like $60 a piece.

Yeah... see... I don't think you need a fancy schmancy light...

 

I think a standard battery powered camping lantern would work fine.
