Hello There!

 

I am planning my destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas in September of 09. I have chosen the Riu but am having difficulty deciding between the Palace or Santa Fe. So far I have been in communication with Daniela from the Palace and she has given me alot of great information and is very quick to respond to my e-mails. The WC at the Santa Fe is a little harder to communicate with, however she is responsive, just not as effecient as the Palace coordinator. If anyone has gotten married at the santa fe and has a copy of the extra ammeneties they offer, I would love to hear from you.

Welcome to the forum. I am a so to be bride at the Santa Fe. I have had really good luck with Erika. I got better and more information from her once we were booked. The problem is that the hotel it self is so new and I think she is still learning herself. I would search the Cabo sub forum and read some reviews. That should help. There are a few brides that got married at the santa fe. If not just ask I will try to help as much as I can.

Thank-you so much! I have actually read a lot of good advice and had a lot of questions answered through this forum..Thank-Goodness! The WC who has been in contact with me frrom the Santa Fe is named Paola. I chose the Riu because it's an all inclusive hotel on Medano beach. The gazebo at the Palace is beautiful and the extra options are exciting (fire dancers, fireworks). I have asked Paola to send me a picture of the Gazebo at the Santa Fe (if the location is different from the Palace) and some prices on the extra ammeneties. I haven't received this yet. Did Erika send you a package with the lists of extra options with prices?

If you go on the sub forum Riu gazebo Sandra E post a pic for me that Erika sent. (I still haven't figured out how to post pics. LOL) Its new they just built it. She says its 10mts from the pool. And just IMO it doesn't compare to places gazebo. I'm not real thrilled with their beach set up either, but she says they are working on something and will keep me posted. I havent asked for firedancer or fireworks so I'm no help there.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
