Question to those of you with Cats.

Our two kittens don't get table food. I've had lots of cats and once you start feeding them from the table they beg. And I hate when cats beg especially when we have guests. So it's a firm rule they ONLY get cat food. I also don't know about the plastic bags b/c I won't bring those home. I use canvas shopping bags. I HATE plastic shopping bags! UGH. But the other day we had chicken wings on the table and left the room and the cats knocked them to the floor and ate them. UGH! But thats the only time they've had table food.

And yes the LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair and ear. They are only 7 weeks old. They were abandoned. So when I lay down at night they both knead my hair and suck on my ear. I think they're trying to nurse b/c they weren't weaned. They only do it at night though. It hurts though so I don't let them. But I'm asleep and wake up to huge sucking sounds in my ear!

My cat, Harley, is definitely part dog. He carries his toys around in his mouth and leaves them near his food dishes all the time. He will eat just about everything, and sits next to me and begs whenever I am eatting. If I leave the closest open where his food and treats are kept, I can guarantee that I'll be cleaning up a mess when I get home, because he will have busted into his snacks, and the bag will be torn to pieces. He is so naughty......but I love him!

dh forgets to put the treats away all the time, and i'll come downstairs in the morning to an empty container. they can take the top off and pull them out!!!
ours carry their toys around, and dunk them in their water bowl. if they're in the mood, they'll play fetch - especially for treats!

I DEFINETELY have a dog trapped in a cats body. We rescued Benjamin (grey tabby cat) about 1 1/2 years ago from the Dumb Friends Leauge. He was 6 months old when we got him, and I swear he acts more like a dog every day. He follows me everywhere, fetches mice and brings them back over and over, loves to be pushed around in clothes baskets, even runs to the door when the door bell rings. The thing he goes CRAZY for is Ring-Pops. This cat will beg and beg for them, paw at the drawer I keep them in, and once he gets a taste, he gripps my hands for dear life with his claws and liks like he's never tasted anything so delicious. I think we could win $$$ LOL. I could go on and on about this cat. I don't have a CLUE why anyone would get rid of this cat. I'll never forget the day he reached his paw out for me at the pound. He's been SPOILED ROTTEN EVER SINCE!

Our cat thinks she is a dog also. We got her from the pound. she ill eat anything. FI was eating hot wings one night and she jump up in the chair next to him and started sniffing around. FI was like ok lets see what you think about this. Let her take a lick and she started sneezing like crazy. We were cracking up. She runs to the run if the bell rings. Fetches her toys. I sware she is a dog trapped in a cats body.

Powdered donuts.. too funny!
My Cali loves to lick plastic bags, she's a totally bag junkie. I did have a cat once that liked photos and would like any pictures that were out. My sister's cat likes gum and will steal it out of your purse.

Oh ya my cats eat the weirdest things and mine act like dogs more and more everyday. My baby was picking up sticks outside in her mouth and bringing them into the house to chew on then putting them all in a corner. My other cat likes Doritos Cheesy ones and beef jerky!

Hahaha! I've had cats all my life. Honestly I am not all that surprised by the powdered donuts. My little cat looooooves sugary stuff. She eats confectioners sugar and brown sugar off the floor if I spill while baking. My first cat that I got when I was 5 (Madonna) had an addiction to canned Redi-whip. She would beg for it night and day. My dad would open the can in the kitchen downstairs and squirt some onto a paper plate and she would come rushing from another floor of the house just at the sound.

My cats also love cheese. And not cheese singles... expensive cheese! Fontina, imported swiss, brie, asiago. Spoiled little brats. Guess we make them that way though! wink.gif

That is too funny! My cat is 5 and in the past year or 2 my cat started to eat more human food that I would think he would hate, he will now just about eat anything, especially anything that has powder or season on it. They are so funny!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
