I have seen some great advertisement about LeBlanc. You must share a review about them as well. Since I have never been to Cancun or Mayan Riviera, I knew that if I ever visited it would have to be adults only.

Only two weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you are as excited as I am.

We're planning on staying at the Riu resort for the week of the wedding. then switching somewhere closer to PV for our honeymoon. I stayed at the Premiere Hotel & Spa 3 years ago and now prices look as if they tripled from then! So we may opt for the sister hotel Beunaventura. I just am relying on getting the jacuzi suite. CROSS MY FINGERS!

Oh and can you beleive the nerve of his mom? She's upset that we're switching hotels. It's our honeymoon! I don't understand am i being selfish?

No, you're not being selfish, its your honeymoon!!! Are you switching right after the wedding or will you still be around for a couple of days?

I know our wedding is on friday and we switch on sunday which is also the same day all of our guests are flying home, but I don't think they'd be offended if we left for our honeymoon!

Other people are so selfish, don't they realize that this time in your life really is all about you!

No I don't think his family realizes that. It's always a fight for who gets to spend time with him. It's NEVER a good situation to be in and there's always drama when it comes to his side. IT BLOWS!

But we'll be there for a full week with them (sat to sun; wedding on a wed) and we have plenty of activities planned for both families to participate in. His mom will be staying 2 weeks but she'll be there the same dates for the first week as us. I just don't get it! Why would you want to be with your son on his honeymoon? HONEYMOON = newly weds right?

You are totally right - and that's kinda creepy.

At all of my friends' weddings we always say "are you scared to lose your virginity tonight?" because we think it's a super funny joke. Maybe make her overhear that conversation and she'll leave you alone. (And I really am not trying to offend anyone who is a virgin!!!!!!)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
