I'm so sorry about your Mom... that must be so hard. sad.gif If I were you I'd probably just take off and elope tomorrow!! You deserve a vacation.

Well welcome back! I booked my 7 day cruise with Carnival for October 10-17, 2010... we are getting married at the first port Puerto Vallarta. I really want to do a TTD in Cabo too!! I envision it under El Arco if thats even possible... I want some fun pictures of both of us jumping off the boat into the water. And then some more romantic ones under the Arc.

I am so EXCITED! We were finally able to book our cruise today! I know it is still so far away, but it all seems so much more real now! I have to get our save the date information together now and send out to the few people that we wouldn't mind going with us. I am absolutely thrilled that we are going with the cruise wedding. I feel NO pressure what so ever and this is exactly what I want---stress free wedding planning!

So, how is everyone's planning going? Anything new to report?

Jaime + Brandon-

I just saw your post! Yes, I live in LB- we are getting married aboard the Splendor before it leaves port. We have already cruise on her, she's beautiful! If you have any questions, let me know!!

We should get together for a brides happy hour if you're in the neighborhood- I'm in downtown!

Hello all! I am planning my 5 night wedding cruise on CCL to Cabo (and planning on having the ceremony in Cabo when we port there for the day) on April 5, 2010. I'm getting nervous bc I've booked the cruise (along with friends and family) - but the important details like when and where the ceremony will take place in cabo as well as a reception back on the boat are TBD. I'll keep you posted when plans are made.

Hi All,

I was just reading through the postings and I am glad to know that there are people out there that are in a similar situation as I am in.

My Fi and I are going to get legally marry in the states first and we will be going on the Royal Caribbean, mariner of the seas in Feb 2010. We were thinking of having a symbolic ceremony/lunch reception in Cabo San Lucas but we are having a tough time finding a place to host the reception. Any suggestions? We are on a budget and we're hoping to spend about $15-$20 /person. We do have about 30-40 people sailing with us.

Thanks in advance.

We also ordered some personalized stamps with a photo of the two of us. Has anyone else sent out invitations or save the dates yet? I'd love to see them... there aren't too many cruise inspired invites out there!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
