I am ecstatic! I was going to do a slideshow for my AHR in 2 weeks, by just dumping my photos into something and lettting it just go. Making no effort at all, when Melissa offered to put something together for me since she had the software. I jumped on that chance and I am so happy I did! I just love this forum and how nice and willing to help everyone always is. She has worked her butt off and I couldn't be happier! I wasn't going to put too much time into this project cuz I didn't have the tools or the time, but she played around with the colors of photos and everything, and I just thnk it's awesome! Take a look here - YouTube - Carly & Matthew rough draft - and make sure you click "watch in high quality" or best quality under the picture on the right, or else it looks fuzzy.

 

I am suppoed to go house shopping, but all I want to do is sit here and watch it over and over again!!

Well I'm honored you let me do it since it was a learning experience for me! I'm happy with the way it turned out but I got a bit embarassed with the quality so I'm uploading another better quality version. Sorry I didn't realize you could watch that in higher quality already. Oops.

 

It's still loading (been 50 minutes now, wow!). I'll let you knwo when it's done. Maybe that's a sign you need to go house shopping! LOL

Hey Morgan thanks for the Vimeo info. I'm going to give it a shot.

I used ProShow Producer. Even though I've had the software for a very long time it was my first time using it for a slide show. I only recommend this program if you want something out of the ordinary. For your basic slide shows stick to the regular slide show software. Too many options with ProShow which makes it very difficult when you want something basic.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
