well, i don't know how old you are, but i'll be 36 this month (not like all these 20-somethings on here) and i've never been married ... my family had given up on it kinda like tula in my big fat greek wedding ... "we would have *NEVER* thought TULA" ... and besides having given up on me, the in-laws are seriously wanting the grandchildren, and they seem a little scared that the old biological clock is tickin' ... i'm afraid once we say "i do" they are going to lock us in our room and not let me out 'til i'm pregnant! hehe

So a few of my questions

!
1. is it too windy for tea lights on the reception table if it is in the lobby?

2.Can i use the new food menu that just came out since i booked b4 it was out?

3.How do the day passes work, i dont want my few guest that are not staying at the resort to have any problem getting in on the wedding day

Thats it for now so hopefully this thread will be helpful and we all can post our questions and any answers that we get lets hope we can get some soon!!!
Here r some random Question I asked Claudia regarding menu

I also book before the new menu came out, and I finally got in touch w/ her regarding the new menu a couple of months ago, she kept telling me that the new menu where better than the old one, So i guess they perfer you to pick the new menu.....

....The new menu you email me have only 4 serving the menu originally sent to me had 5 serving 1. appt 2.soup 3.salad 4.entree 5.dessert

Please find the menus to choose

I have a couple of guest who are allergic to shell fish & fish can you accomodate them w/ chicken instead of shrimp for the entree...the new menu (gold menu 1)

YES NOT A PROBLEM WE CAN CONSIDER THEM

...The old menu what does the surf & turf consist of?

yes tea lights inside will be fine but any outside if not in deep huricane glasses will blow out

2.Can i use the new food menu that just came out since i booked b4 it was out?

Yes she said no problem just email her what i wanted and she would take care of it

3.How do the day passes work, i dont want my few guest that are not staying at the resort to have any problem getting in on the wedding day

She told me that if the guest show up right b4 the wedding that she would not charge me the day pass price but if they come in the mouring ie photogs then they would have to pay the guest pass price

i talked to claudia today (I called her too ....unfortunately i was about to have a nervous breakdown myself.

GAby said she had reserved May 17th for me about a week ago, and today i get an email in response to one of my many questions saying "that day was booked by another coordinator).

Turns out the only possible weekend day in ALL of April, May, June is 6/14. i begged her to reserve it and send me ANY kind of confirmation. she said she would right away and then never did. If I dont hear from her I guess it wont be dreams for me sad.gif

I just want a confirmed date and ill relax for the rest of the year!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
