Bonfire on the Beach in PV - Where?

Has anyone attempted to host a bonfire and bbq on the beach? I heard a rumor that Dreams does it but not sure and Gaby is impossible to get in touch with. I'd like to host a Welcome bbq, bonfire and drinks at Dreams the first night but not sure if its possible.

 

If not Dreams, any suggestions on where one could host a bonfire on the beach?

i didn't have one, but i can't see a bonfire being very private at dreams...it's a very small beach, so everyone would try to see what was going on....try calling gaby, or call her boss, gabriela (don't know her last name). sorry i'm not more help!

I've never seen a bonfire on the beach, but that's not to say it couldn't happen. I know, when I lived in LA, we did bonfires quite a bit - but that's not something that's common here.

I know La Palapa does them...I am looking into it for my welcome reception.

I heard back from Gaby at Dreams and she said they can do it but based on some of your feedback it sounds like the beach at Dreams is too small and not private. Any thoughts on Dreams vs La Palapas? We will have a large group of guests.

Yes, for 80 people they want about $2800 for two margaritas and limited appetizers.

I don't have the website on this computer, but I have it at work. I just googled it and found it though.

They have great pictures. I've already booked the Romantic Dinner there for our last night in PV before heading back to the states. They'll even work with the menu since I'm a vegetarian.

 

They were very responsive and quick over emails.
