EDR's HM brkfst in bed & Dinner at beach..which did you choose?

Shannon, what bouquet option did you pick? I really like the way yours looks. I picked one that was only $50 (just mixed tropical flowers) and am afraid it will be skimpy. I figured I can always upgrade.

First of all- I'm totally in love with Fred!! your dog is the cutest!

my bouquet was kinda expensive... It was $250 -I originally picked the DB3- the 20 calla lillies.. (on lomas website it's now listed at $300- I guess they upped the price?!?!)

But Valeria wrote me about a month before our wedding and said a previous bride had ordered that bouquet and they had come in -and the bride wasn't pleased at all- that the lillies were much darker than the pictures showed and looked more like something for a winter wedding and she recommend I change my order.

I definitely appreciated her emailing me ahead of time and letting me know!-- so they took my colors of "red and pink" and made a mixed bouquet of tulips and roses-- and just charged me the same - $250-- I think the tulips were the expensive part- evidently they are hard to get in Mexico....

Here is another pictures of the flowers- by the time I got to ordering the bouquets- i was kinda "in the zone" LOL- not thinking about money- just adding stuff-- so they were expensive- but I really did love them- they were super pretty.. And we put them in a vase in our room the rest of the time there and enjoyed them--- our bellhop (marten) was super nice so when he came to pick up our bags when we checked out, I gave him the flowers (still looked good) to take home to his wife- he was more excited about that than Vince's $20 tip! :)

I only had my sister stand up with me-- I ordered her the PB9- Mexican calla lillies and they were "only" $130- and they were really pretty too....

Shannon- How exciting! Your wedding must have been beautiful. I really like the bouquets you used too. Your colors were HOT!

I myself am doing pink and orange with touches of brown. I wonder if I can go with the Mexican Calla Lillies and ask them to wrap them in nice orange ribbon for me. I asked for the BB14 StarGazer & Casablanca cause I thought they could find them in my colors bt Valeria says they only have them in white or pink. I really want to wear a pretty flower on my hair that would match my bouquet. I thought a stargazer would look pretty, but oh well we'll see.

I was wondering, did anyone of you girls go with the Cigar Roller at your reception? Anyone going with this? I really want to do it, but I can't seem to understand the attachment about it that Valeria sent to me this morning. Anyone?

Sooo, I really need to upgrade then! Good to know, thanks. I want more oranges and yellows, so I will probably stick with tropical flowers but may add some roses. This may help to keep the cost down.

Thanks for the complement about Fred. He truly is the best little dog. He is not yelpy or skittish. He tears it up at the dog park with the biggest and roughest of dogs! He is the great white cat hunter, or at least that is how he thinks of himself when he tears after the neighbor's cats each morning!!

You totally could ask them to wrap them in an orange ribbon- they actually asked me if I wanted ivory or white ribbon and asked like- what way to tie it (like if I wanted it criss-cross or not, or if I wanted a bow at the bottom or not, etc)--- so I think you can pretty much do whatever you want. -the mexican calla lillies that my sister had were really really pretty---i would def recommend them---- your wedding colors sound beautiful!! :)

    • Go for the third one. It is gorgeous and you will look stunning in that. I'm sure you will be noticed by other people. Go for it.
    • I would suggest the long one. You will look stunning in that. It is simple and elegant.

    • Two of my friends are going to get married next month. Out of them one is suffering from serious teeth issue. He is having bleeding gums along with jaw pain and swelling, particularly around the gums or around the jaw. Because of the teeth issue, he is not able to make the arrangements for the marriage. Is it safe to carry out tooth extraction during this period of time? How painful is dental implants during and after the procedure? Will he be able to eat food after tooth extraction? Please share your views and suggestions. Thank you!
