i used software to make the layout here:

LumaPix FotoFusion - Share your digital photos by email!

Well i finally got my wedding book. i desgined it myself instead of going through mypublisher.com or kodakgallery because i read that the quality wasn't as good...also i wanted to be very specific with my layout.

Quality of book (A++): the book i ordered is big. 12" x 12". The linen cover is beautiful, the binding is solid and clean (some pics of a mypublisher books i saw the binding was all funky). Also, you can add these great feature like beautiful black pages in the cover or have your name and wedding date imprinted into the leather with silver or gold emboss.

Quality of print (A++): i chose a glossy print and the book looks so professional. I had some full bleed pics that were very large and there was no problem with the pics looking pixelated or the color being off.

Price (A): i knew i would have to pay more than kodak for a better quaility book but was surprised that i only paid about 10% more than at kodak.

Customer service (A++++++): i have never had customer service so good. the CEO would email me within hours each time i emailed with a stupid question. Also, my MIL wanted to open an account and take the pages of my book BUT also add some more pages and he very easily transferred my pages into her account so she could do this (with my permission, of course Click the image to open in full size.). Also, the day AFTER i placed my order i found out i messed up and he stopped the printing when i begged him and fixed it for me.

here are some pics of the book:

That's not bad at all, I was looking at just the really nice albums for a scrapbook and they run about $140.00 and that's before you start adding everything else into it. WOW, you gave me some food for thought... Did they just work with the file Juan gave you?

yes, you need high res pics and juans are perfect...it was awesome because some pages are just 1 giant pic that bleeds to the edges...you can make fancy edges, add sayings...i did one page with alot of small pics...some bigger..so much flexibility!

WOW, I just looked at the website and I didn't see the 12 x 12 you did, and it said their books start at 12 pages (but two sided so 24).. Maybe I was looking at something different. OMG I would take me forever to figure out how to fill 60 pages, I'm not doing before shots of the wedding so it'll just be ceremony pics, B & G pics, and misc family pics.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
