These are beautiful! Are you using fresh or silk flowers? Can I ask who your florist is and if you're being charged an arm and leg for this? All the fresh flowers I've wanted are supposed imports to JA and triple the price if not more. I am seriously considering using silks or dashing away the idea of flowers altogether...altho that will make some fam members FREAK out. LOL! I'm sort of beyond caring anymore.

I was afraid of the cost to get the flowers I want and I actually found this woman on Etsy who makes really beautiful paper bouquets. Seems odd I know but she is making me a bouquet with the colors/flowers I want. I sent her several inspiration pics (this was one) and she's been great to work with so far. I don't have them yet, or a photo of what she's done, because I still have several months. Can't wait to see what she comes up with! Here's the bouquet I saw in her Etsy shop that first sold me on her services:

Here's her Etsy shop if you're interested. http://www.etsy.com/shop/loveleeflowers Not a lot of items, but like I said, she is making me a bouquet with the flowers/colors I want. Plus a bridesmaid's bouquet and two bouts for about $450. So I'm sure she could create something custom for you too!

But also if flowers are not a big deal to you, real or otherwise, then ditch them! It should be all about you. Who cares what the fam thinks. :)

Love these! They look real too! So many creative ppl out there, I swear. Well I'm using fake orchids for my centrepieces so I will either go with silks, paper or none. If you find the Canadian Brides forum, you can see the centrepieces that I made for a total cost of about $5 ea. LOL. Budget Bride! Diva on a Dime! Call it what you like, I'm trying to stick to my budget.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
