Fuschia Brides Post Here - Any color combo w/fuschia

Recommended Posts

My colors are fuschia and green. I call the colors island pink and green. My bridesmaids will wear champagne colored dresses with a fuschia brooch on the front and carry fuschia flowers. The guys will wear tan pants and white shirts with the fuschia btnr. Both the Fi and I will wear white. The flower girl will wear a white dress with a fuschia sash.

I want the reception tables to have large cylinders full of limes, with smaller arrangements of pink and green flowers on the tables. I saw some submergable (is that a word?) tea lights that I want to put in the bottom of the large cylinders of limes. There will be fuschia accents on the tables. I want the sashes for the chair covers to be fuschia too!

I have it all in my head, now to put it into action. smile29.gif

Hey all you girls that are getting married in the Riviera Maya Mexico region...are any of you interested in sharing an order of transparent hot pink pens with "Riviera Maya 2009" on them? I attached a link. the price per pen includes the set up fee, etc. I don't know shipping yet. I need to order mine by Thursday, April 9 because we leave in about 12 days. PM or email me if interested. I am obsessed with these pens. :) Palm Tree Pen - Personalized

I'm doing the same colours and hibiscus theme! I'm going to add in some light pink though too. My BMs are wearing fuschia dresses and will have light pink parasols and I'll have a fuschia one. The boys will have some lime greenery as their boutonierres. I'm going to try to incorporate lime green accents throughout the decor, I just haven't figured out exactly what I want to do yet. I'll post my inspiration board when I finish it though!

I am completely undecided on what colours I want to put with fuschia.

One day I'm thinking bright green, today I'm thinking turquoise....some days I lean towards chocolate brown...I swear, I better hurry up and decide!

Has anyone seen the pink & turquoise done together??

I have! My colours are Hot Pink & turquoise and I love them. It's just fun!
My MOH is in Fuschia and my BM is in Turquoise. I have made the fuschia the lead colour and the turquoise the accent.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
