Fuschia Brides Post Here - Any color combo w/fuschia

Recommended Posts

We had fuschia and orange as our colors. Last minute we added brown cause I hated the BM's original dresses. We got some brown ones for them a couple months before the wedding.

My tables don't have a lot of color because I forgot to take my centerpieces to Las Caletas the day of the wedding. Ooops. The WC improvised with some hurricane lights.

Thanks for sending me a note Jenny - I totally would have missed this! I couldn't find this thread for a while there!

I have decided to make my own invites and that process will begin tomorrow. I have my boarding pass file ready to go. My aunt is addressing the navy envelopes for me. I am really excited!!!

Also thinking about using limes and kumquats as filler in arrangements.
awesome! i am not having any attendants either so my colors (the same as yours!) will come out in all the decor and such!

Hi Cabobridey:

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your fuchsia parasols for your BMs?

Happy Wedding!

are any of you looking to order chair sashes? I would love to get some hot pink/fuschia ones but they come in sets of 100 on ebay. I only need about 20-30... From the size of the sashes it sounds like the are the right length to be used as a table runner too, but idunno how well that would work.

I'm not sure my pink would classify as fushia, but pretty close. I am also having a light green and some accents of ivory. I think I will have pink roses in my bouquet, and the BMs will have ivory (one is wearing the pink dress, the other the green color, but both are wearing ivory flip flops). My flower girl will also be in a green dress with pink flip flops. If my BM that is wearing pink has any fabric left over from alterations we are going to use it to make a pink sash for the flower girl. My invitations incorporated all three colors. I got clear glass starfish tealight candle holders that I may use as part of the centerpiece decorations, but I haven't decided if I'm going to use them or not. I was planning on ordering ivory parasols and raffia fans I will probably tie pink and green ribbon on those. I haven't decided on the chair bows yet since I haven't seen what the resort has as far as color options. I know the chair covers are white so I think I might stick with an ivory chair bow if they don't have pink or green that will compliment or color theme. I don't mind if the shade is a little off, but the pink and green color of the BM dresses are not a common shade so if it is way off it will look weird.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
