My colors are fuschia and purple. The bouquets will be a mictirue of colors....purple, yellow and white all go nice with fuschia! Starfishes are cool too....very beachy feel!

  • 4 weeks later...

I'm doing Fushia and orange ( tangerine) but am having a hard time finding bridesmaides dresses in those colors. I thought that since I was having only two MOH that I would have each in one of the colors, or find a dress with both colors in it...but so far no luck. Any ideas would be helpful...thanks

I am also going to get some sort of flower, to pin on the back of the chair sashes to off set those colors. For the centerpieces, I am doing a few small ones of lime slices with flowers on top and submersible LED tea lights. I put it all together with my dining room table so I could see if I was doing an over kill, and it turned out great! The crystal organza is very pretty, it makes the colors sort of light, basically, not so bold, so you can put 2 colors together and its not crazy looking. Just an idea! I can send you the website I ordered mine from, the prices were great & they were delivered within 3 days.

Hi asiamarie1!

I have a few ideas for you if you're interested:

- have one MOH wear fuschia and the other MOH wear orange (may be easier than buying dresses and having a sash dyed)

- have both MOH's wear fuschia or both wear orange and then custom design either fuschia or orange jewels! Think of it this way, you don't necessarily need them (if you don't want) to represent both colors in the fabric, but you could highlight and accent with jewelry that incorporates your other color (if that makes sense!)

-To give you an idea, I've included a few pics of recently custom designed fuchsia jewels (earrings, bracelets & barefoot jewels) that incorporate either turquoise or lime green. Orange could easily replace either color if you'd like. I have some gorgeous orange beads that are the same style/shape as the fuchsia beads in the "Floating Bougainvillea" earrings.  Hopefully these ideas helped!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
