Valerie, I was wondering if you were going to give us a review. Thanks so much for sharing your pics as well. I am delighted to hear that mostly everything workied out well! I would've probably been a nervous wreck after the accident smile41.gif

 

moving on to the Big Day! You were such a beautiful bride and the dresses coordinated so beautifully! I am glad to hear that the guys kept on their suits too. My Fi wants to change and I don't want him to.

Sounds like everything went great. I love your bouquet and your hair. And the pictures look wonderful.

 

Its to bad that the rooms were not all that good. I'm glad everyone enjoyed their oot bags. They always seem to be a big hit and I think I might need to make room in our budget for them.

 

What a good idea to have some spa time with your hubby before the wedding.

People have still have a while to book, but as of now we have 30 people that has given a deposit...
The WC just said that they would do reservations for a "smaller" group, but now i wonder what she considers "Small"!!!

Thanks for the review! I'm also considering Allegro Playacar because of its location (close to PDC, and the church on 5t Avenida that I want to get married in...right?)

 

Would you recommend this resort to others? I am a little grossed out by the dirty shower...

 

Were there other options for the location of your dinner? Do all the restaurants have those tacky chairs?

 

I really appreaciate your honest opinion...Thanks!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
