BeneFit Burned my Face!!!

Recommended Posts

i haven't read thru this whole thing yet, but the best thing for a wax burn is burn cream!!!! hate to say it, but it will probably not clear up by this weekend. i've burned myself before, and it has to scab over before healing completely.

i think you should demand that they open early for you.

So sorry to hear this. I would suggest you call your photographer and explain ASAP. He/She wants you to be happy, relaxed and excited about the shoot. I would ask if you could change the date. Most photographers would want to work with their clients to make sure they are thrilled with the photos!

Give them a call tomorrow!

Oh No! This has happened to me they burned me really badly I hate to give you bad news but if it was as bad as mine was it may scab up. I would keep putting on neosporin, that just sucks I am so sorry and even more sorry that you have to explain to Dean it is not ok to say you don't look good, I am sure you are still beautiful! Maybe the photographer can work some magic.

Wow, Nikki, that sucks! I would also make them open early for you, or have them send the makeup artist to your house for a house call.

This happened to me once, but it was so long ago, I can't remember how long it took to heal. It was pretty bad though with the scabs.

Also, keep in mind that photoshop works wonders!!! Just tell your photog so he is prepared.

Oh no Nikki! I am SO SO sorry to hear this!

I'd see if you can't reschedule your photo shoot. You won't be comfy and it will come thru in the photos.

Good luck. Keep us posted!

That has happened to me too but when I tried to do it myself! I am so sorry. I think for sure keep it moisturized with Neosporin that always seem to work wonders. Heck I would even tinker with the fact of asking someone to open the store early for you so you can come in just for the application...or ask for samples of the make up they were going to use on you to help hide the redness so you can do it yourself that morning.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
