    I posted a pic on page 3

There is nothing remotely beautiful about this post and I was not sure where to put it here or in vents...

I got an eyebrow wax yesterday. Right afterwards the area under my brows looked a little red. I figured it was because I am a little pale since I have not seen the sun un a while. The girl (who was not my regular) said just put on your glasses and no one will see a thing!

so I get home and I have two horrible red patches under my brows and it stings!! I called the brow bar and they asked me to come back in. their jaws dropped when I went back. Considering this has never happened in the 15 years I have been getting my brows waxed, I am not using Retin-A, I do not get facials and I use very mild cleansers on my face this is UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Did I mention Dean & I are taking engagement photos this weekend?

Benefit assured me that it should be cleared up by the weekend and offered a full makeup application prior to the photo shoot. Problem is the photo session is scheduled for 8am (for lighting) and they don't open til 10. I am applying ointment and hoping for the best.

Has this happened to anyone else and how long did it take to heal? I am so devastated

Apply Neosporin to bring down the redness. Are you on any other kinds of meds at all?

Ice for the redness, and try to get polysporin, it tones down redness and less people are allergic to it, my dermatologist recommended it to me.

            Nope, I don't take anything
I have been using neosporin with Pain Reliever. I hate my face. Dean woke up this morning and said " you look really, really bad." I had to explain to him that was not OK to say

That is so crazy, i think the wax was too hot! That happened to a girl i work with and she said she's been going to the same place forever. I'm sorry, i think vitamin e capsules help so it will not scar.

Oh no! What perfect timing for her to mess up too! I would just keep up with the ointment and stay out of the sun as much as you can. Keep us posted on how things go.
