Spending Money In Cabo

What is avg amount of $$$ you spent in Cabo including food, tours, shopping etc..? Many of you do the AI, still give me your input,

It varies, if you stay at an AI obviously you spend less. Depending on the tours that you do, usually they're at least 50pp. The glass bottom boat is about 10.00pp and depending where you eat outside of your hotel. Cabo can be kind of expensive depending on the places you visit.

When we went, we didn't stay at an AI and with food and activities we took 3k with us, however I don't think we came close to spending that.

We bring about 300$ for 2 but this is for A.I. This money goes towards eating out once and activities.

For 2 weeks we had 3600 plus some vouchers for restaurants and the buccaneer queen. We came home with 1500.00 and we paid for everyone's taxis to dinner (3 taxis full of people) for our Saturday dinner. We also paid cash for everything.

We usually stay at AI, but we usually allow $100 each per day. And always come back with cash.

just wanted to chime in that any credit cards you take with you, be sure to call your credit card companies and let them know you are taking a trip outside the country and let them know the dates you'll be gone so they dont think your cards have been stolen and shut them off on you.

We stayed at an AI and took 300-400 with us, but didn't come close to spending all of it. We ate out once, did a ATV ride, and a sunset boat cruise, and didn't pay for anything else (including transportation to and from the airport).

Yes, don't forget to call your credit card companies and tell them about your travel. ALso, check the rates they charge. You can use credit cards at most any store or restaurant down there, so cash isn't that viatal. However, most credit cards charge 3% on top of the the exchange rate. And, ATMs typically start at $5.00 for US fee, and then a Mexico fee at the machine. So, taking some cash is important, but if you don't it will be easy to get cahs or pay for things in other ways!

We're bringing $1000 but we'll only be there for six days and two of the nights the food and drinks are already covered (wedding and welcome dinner). Plus we are moving to a condo with a kitchen after the hotel so we can cook breakfasts and lunches.
