I'm so sorry to hear about your problems with Chadlyn. But your wedding still turned out beautiful, the set up at Mambee was absolutely beautiful. Your friends and family did a great job! Did you bring your own plates & glasses? I've never seen those before. Everything looked great!!! Did you get your money back for the extras that you paid for and never received?

No, orginally I had paid for the gazebo decor and not the bon fire so she want to call it an even trade which it was not. Then she said the 100 USD I paid extra for the cake would cover the rest of the bon fire. Well the bon fire was only 150 and the decor was well over that plus the cake money. You know what I didn't argue because she really didn't give me the time of day, to even voice my concerns. My husband was ticked because the day of departure she walked right by us and didn' even speak, she walked by us like we were strangers. Very unprofessional. I did write a letter tonight to Riu and also my Riu group coordinator, Claudia. Waiting for a response.

We stayed in a Jr. Suite, it was comfortable we didn't spend much time in the room except........ Either way don't spend a lot of money on a fancy room and les you plan on spending your time in it. The Jr. Suite was fine.

My laid back attitude was due to my wonderful MAN of honor, he kept me in check and didn't let me turn into a bridezilla.

Smart, that's the best thing to do so one less thing to worry about. No we never got the cake we payed for we got the orginial cake the came with our package.I was pissed I had sent pics several months in advance and even discussed at our meeting 2 days before and still didn't recieve the right cake. Sparklers I bought online I'll forward you the website. I have to find it in my receipts. No we didn't decorated the Sea Grape the beach and the full moon needed no decor, we had the bon fire and a few tables with chairs.

So you can bring sparklers on the plane? ...I didn't think that would be an option.

I didn't think so either, but we packed them and hoped for the best they did open allof my boxes and broke a few things but left the sparklers. Wrapwithus.com is the site I purchased the sparklers.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
