I am lost - Boudoir pics...i don't even know what those are? I assume they are "sexy" pics - that you give your FI as a wedding gift or something? Do they have the "subtle cover up " with the sheets - like they do on "how do look good naked" (on Lifetime).

I love the idea...but would need to do them closer to the wedding date - after Weight Watchers, Buff Bride, the gym etc........ha ha.

Please tell me more about these, and if you didn't know anyone who was a photographer, how do you think you would find someone to do these?

THANKS - this sounds interesting

Some suggestions............

1. Confidence is key.... wine, music, whatever it takes - if you are confident in yourself, the pictures will just "happen".

2. may sound dumb, but go watch a few reruns of americas next top model - watch the models change poses at a shoot.... practice modeling in front of a mirror....... -- repeat the same things in front of the camera! --

If you come and only rely on instruction from the photog, the pictures are dead. --

In general, when I shoot models, I have a basic idea of the overal concept - but it is up to the model to make the shot.

so to recap - have fun, be confident, and WORK IT! :)

Relax... they will be fantastic! I actually had a lot of fun taking my BD pics :) I got all made up, felt really beautiful, and just had fun with them. If you are comfortable with the photog (which I think is the most important part), then you will be fine, and the pics will be fantastic! My DH LOVES his BD album, and was shocked to get it. He never would've guessed that I would do something like that, which I think makes them even sexier.

Tracy - BD photos are sexy pictures - no rules, just whatever you think is sexy. A lot of girls have done them, so if you do a search on here, you will find a lot of posts. Many of us have gotten recommendations from girls in our area, but you can also find photogs online who do boudoir. I would highly recommend meeting with someone before booking to make sure you will be comfortable with them.

I did mine last week and I had a BLAST. My photog gave me some wine just because she thought it would make good pictures. Just be confident that you look great and your FI loves you just the way you are. Have fun, try to look at some victoria's secret poses and add your little touch. I could do that every day! it was that much fun. :) You'll get out of there feeling sexier than ever!

I'm dying to tell FI and I have 5 more months to keep it a secret! Its eating me inside haha

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
