What is your favorite brand of Hot Sauce?

My husband is a hot sauce connousier. He actually knows which peppers are used for which sauce. Being a chemist, he could tell you a lot more about it, but his favorite is D.L. Jardine's Texas Champagne. It is ia cayenne pepper sauce, but a nice balance between spice and flavor without too much vinegar.

Also, there is a "hot sauce store" in New Hope, PA that isn't too far from you - they sell EVERYTHING and some hard to find varieties!

I was going to ditto Alyssa's rec of the store in New Hope. It's called Suzie Hot Sauce (at least the one I'm thinking off!).

Oh cool, thanks guys! I am checking out this one right now - D.L. Jardine's Texas Champagne - but can probably make a trip with mom/sis/SIL to New Hope to check out that store too. And also going to look at the thread, Alyssa gave me...

 

And JUST realized that it's called Jardine's! That's one of his best friends last names, so that could be cool.

We use seasoning more than hot sauce... Tony's Chachere's is my favorite! But we always have Tabasco Sauce and Louisiana Hot Sauce handy as well.

I grew up with Tabasco and I am sticking with the original flavor.

Arizona Gunslinger...we like the jalapeno pepper sauce and the spicy honey mustard ones. We pretty much douse our food in hot sauces or we load on the cayenne pepper.

 

We also love Texas Pete's little red and green Tabasco peppers..they are great with mashed potatoes, rice, veggies, anything boring that we can spice up!

Tabasco!!!! lot's of it... I'm a strong believer that I should be in tears when I eat spicy foods…mmmmmmm
