first dress fitting

Recommended Posts

well i went on my very first fitting today [at davids bridal]- and i'm thinking it was a good idea to start 1.5 years before the wedding... i didn't have much luck. there were 2 that stood out as my favorites and i'll see if i can figure out how to include pics in this post.

the pictures are pretty terrible, and you can see that i was not really focusing on having them taken anyway. a flash may have helped, but oh well- we still have LOTS of dress shopping to do.

i'm also still trying to decide if i'm going to wear shoes, flip flops, wedge flip flops, or barefoot sandals... ahhh smile41.gif

my family liked dress #1 the best, but i'm a little hesitant about the bow on the front- does it make it look a little silly? i can't decide how i feel about it quite yet. i will also post the davids bridal links so you can see some quality pics of the gowns.

I like dress #1 as well, but I also agree that you'll know when you find your dress.

I started dress shopping really early as well, the only problem was that once I finally found mine, I had to force myself NOT too look at other dresses so I wouldn't fall in love with any others!

I love dress #2! I almost got that dress and have had several monents when I wish I had gotten that dress. It is a very flattering dress, and in my opinion it looks much more expensive than it is. I was impressed by the quality of that one for the price.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
