please help....HATE my dress on me.. UPDATE!

Recommended Posts

Thank You everyone........i liked the strapless better when looking at the pictures and did not like the halter at all. The halter one is more comfortable because I am always pulling up strapless dresses but......if it is fitted correctly then that shouldnt be a problem.

I think the strapless looks fabulous on you.

My gown was strapless and I started freaking out as the big day got closer thinking that all my armpit fat was going to ooze over the dress ... but in the end I worried for nothing -- although I did work out w/ a trainer to focus on that area well-beforehand. lol :-)

And it doesn't look to me like you need to lose anymore weight! You are a gorgeous bride-to-be!

ugh armpit fat....HATE IT! ha the halter one hid that well so that was another reason I chose that one.....i have 10 months though and these pictures have given me inspiration to work out!

I picked the strapless one, they are both beautiful on you, but I like the strapless better, it suits you more.

I had a small halter strap built for my dress because I hate that armpit fat that you speak of, I know it well. I had it made with snaps incase I decided I did not love the way it looked, but I did and I was so happy I had it. Just an FYI :)

I think that strapless dress looks GREAT on you! Love the dress. I don't think you have anything to worry about! I have 15 lbs to lose and no boobs. I have to pay to have bra cups added to my dress. That's not fun! I think you look gorgeous in those dresses.

People that never wear strapless dresses are obvious because they are constantly pulling up on the dress thinking it is going to fall off. After you have any alterations done that you may need, just remember that. The dress won't be going anywhere, especially if it is fitted to you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
