Mini Tequila Bottles

Hi Ladies. I came across this thread and thought the mini tequila bottle idea was great. I don't know what the price for these are in MX, but I did find a website for the Mini bottles here in CA. Anyone know if Don Julio Tequila is good? know what the cost of a minis bottle of this is in cabo?

I was told that Don Julio was not considered a good tequila. It's equivalent to Jose Cuervo. I'm not a tequila drinker so I can't vouch one way or another- just what some Mexicans had told us during our trip.

 

I'd suggest a tequila tasting. It was super fun and we payed $8-$10 per mini bottle. I have some pics of them if you want to see the size, etc.

Yikes that's a lot of bottles.

 

We didn't find anything too cheap but we went to a speciality tequila place. I bet you could find one much cheaper than what we did.

I think that most Americans would consider Jose Cuervo a decent tequila, even if Mexicans don't ... but then again, I am SO not a tequila drinker!

Not that I'm appointed to speak on behave of all Mexicans, cause I'm only one of MANY, but the tequila my FI and I would like for our guest would be the mini Patron bottles. The mini bottles run between $6.99-$9.99, depending on which type you want (we'd get the Silver). We both enjoy tequila and have tried different types. Honestly, everyone likes something different. If your budget is about $5 a bottle, I'd suggest getting the bottle of DonJulio cause it looks really nice. Once everyones had a few drinks, they're not really going to care what it tastes like. And if they don't like tequila, they're not going to drink it anyways...they'll either keep it or give it to one of your other guests.
